Digital Media Manager

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented, highly organized, analytically charged individual who is passionate about all things digital media.

Digital Media Managers are multi-talented cross-functional marketers and encourage out of the box thinking. This role is essential to the design, development, and management of digital display campaigns from start to finish.

This role works with the various teams (Marketing, Content, Client Strategists, Project Managers, Design, Developers, etc.) in assessing the digital media landscape to craft holistic digital media plans that are multi-platform and cross-device including digital display, programmatic, and social. Campaigns are grounded in sound data strategies, paired with interactive creative, content, video, and fueled by consumer insights. The ultimate goal is creating a great customer experience while exceeding our client’s needs and expectations.

Strategy & Planning

  • Design consumer experiences with creative digital ideas at the core of each program, including leveraging mobile apps, driving website/store traffic, content marketing, rich media, paid social, and video
  • Influence and help shape framework of strategy as well as pinpoint implications for planning
  • Handle planning process from start to finish, including identifying potential vendors, creating RFPs, pricing negotiation, creative concept development, creative specs, supporting documentation, and deck build
  • Assist in identification of vendors for long-term enterprise wide partnership opportunities
  • Support the team structure & classify campaigns for constant testing & programmatic diversification


  • Handle day-to-day on all things planning for full cycle of programs
  • Build and preserve relationships with vendors and internal teams
  • Collaborate internally and externally to identify potential synergistic opportunities
  • Effectively present digital media plans to multiple groups in a team environment

Campaign Execution & Management

  • Manage creation of insertion orders, campaign budget/flowchart sheets, and trafficking sheets
  • Paid social & programmatic are managed in-house – hands on management of these programs working closely with AdOps team (who will setup and handle day to day within the systems)
  • Actively manage campaigns and review reporting to extrapolate performance trends and key insights for optimization opportunities and/or future planning
  • Work alongside AdOps to ensure pacing/billing is completed in a timely fashion
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent years of work experience in related position
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of digital media/marketing experience, specifically at an advertising agency or client-side online marketing department
  • Minimum of 1 year of programmatic experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience leading a small team or group
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DoubleClick/DCM, Programmatic UIs, comScore, Facebook Power Editor, and Google Analytics are required
