Jen’s expert knowledge of digital marketing combined with her humorous and approachable attitude make her an ace strategic partner.

How did you find out about Netplus?
On the Philly Ad Club job board.
Can you share a little bit about why you wanted to work here?
I wanted to work here because as a full-service digital agency, Netplus would give me the opportunity to touch all aspects of digital marketing including social media, email marketing, display, paid search, website development and everything in between. I was also intrigued by the wide array of clients in various industries.
Describe your typical work day.
As a client strategy manager, I honestly don’t have a typical work day. My tasks vary day to day depending on client requests as well as current and potential projects. Over the course of a week, I could be organizing a meeting with the internal team to brief them on a new project, reviewing and sharing ad creative with clients, writing a proposal, gathering insights and putting together campaign reporting, or working with the internal team to develop ideas that will grow a client’s business. All while staying in touch with both sides throughout each day.
What are some of the biggest challenges you face as a client strategy manager?
I’d say the biggest challenge is balancing both the clients’ and internal team’s needs at the same time. My main goal is to keep the client happy and ensure their business thrives, but it can be difficult to balance that responsibility and be mindful of the team’s time and workload (especially with urgent, last-minute requests) while also staying within project budgets and timelines. It’s definitely a balancing act, but luckily we’re a team who specializes in problem solving!
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of the industry knowledge and strategic mindset that I’ve developed while working here. Coming from an affiliate marketing background, I didn’t work closely with any other digital marketing channels. When I joined Netplus, I needed to hit the ground running, so I learned a lot in a short timeframe. As a result, I feel that I’m growing into a thoughtful, confident marketer—and it certainly helps that I work with super-intelligent and talented people who I’m constantly learning from!
What do you look for in your fellow teammates?
Confidence in the sense that they’re not afraid to bring new and different ideas to the table, whether they’re feasible or not, and can challenge the rest of the team (including me) to be better and smarter.

I despise peanut butter & jelly.
